MYNAME- Message

This is a very special inaguration as it is my first blog. YAY! Who to start off maybe someone new as this is a new blog. But who... let's go with MYNAME. This was my first time listening or watching MYNAME. Very catchy song with a simple settings that's designated to focus on their dancing ability. A very typical music video for many K Pop bands a good way to start for a debut song. Let's look more closely at what looks like a simple dance more closely. 

I do have a compliant about their cloths. The song is about sending a text message which they put their hearts into but why is it that they are trying to seem like these nice and sweet guys are they wearing spikes. Kind of seems dangerous. Maybe that is why the girl isn't answering their text probably got hurt while giving the guy a hug or even possibly it led them to the hospital where she can't answer her phone.

Also being the first time watching MYNAME I thought it was another 9 group band but it wasn't until I got farther in the video that I started to realize "Hey, maybe those are backup dancers." It confused me at first but now I know who the members are. However some bands have people for their dancing ability so they could possibly be just dancers for aesthetic purposes, they seem good enough to be in a band I guess its their singing that isn't up to par. The part that really distinguishes them as just back up dancers is in the white room otherwise I would have still thought MYNAME was a 9 member group.

They have two main dance moves in the song. The first being the message hand. This being the move where they make a square using their index finger and thumb. I like this move because it is easy to do. Every time they did this move I would just imagine different love messages that they would be sending. Just think how they would send things like "I miss you," "Let's meet up," and "I love you" every time they put up the message sign. So sweet of them.

But in frustration of the girl, who is afraid of spikes, for not responding to their text messages they start stomping around. What surprises me is how the 5 guys are all having the same problem. Could it be possible that they are all sending text messages to the same girl?! I think this is what is happening because they are all not receiving text messages and are stomping in unison. That girl is lucky for having 5 good looking guys chasing after her.

Overall I think this is a good debut song with a good beat. I will continue to watch out for these 5 member rookie band in the future.
