EXO - MAMA

Today's post is a two for one. I have to say finally we have a full debut from these guys. I really enjoy the song it is a great song to listen to but there are many flaws in the storyline that I found, also bad English.
Was it only me or was the set up with the story a little confusing. The first line didn't even make sense, "When the skies of the ground were one the legends, through their 12 forces nurtured the tree of life." What? I appreciated that the beginning was in English because these days who doesn't understand English, but I'm an English speaker and couldn't understand it. So this is what I got, attempting to translate. 12 forces took care of this floating tree, which let me add has a heart, until evil began to destroy is. To be able to take care of the heart they split into two to be able to hide in different times. They make two suns that look alike and live separately where live in one universe but on different worlds. Until an eclipse occurs then they will be on the same ground but with different skies to meet once again. In the end a new world will open up. Okay now we all understand, right? I even tried to translate it and I'm still lost.
Well who cares in they end the 12 members meet one another with superpowers that's the conclusion. 
Good try SM but no one understood.
I also don't understand some of the pictures. They have an angry sun and a sad moon. That is a horrible universe to live in. Where's the happiness? Maybe that is why they put 12 good looking guys to live their.

 

Also did they ever learn astronomy the sun is way to close to the world. Maybe that is why they are the only ones there because they are the only ones that can survive those conditions.

Enough about the intro let go to the actual performance and song. The first time I heard the song I am like "This is such a different sound" I enjoyed the chant in the beginning not knowing what they were saying than I watched EXO-M's video and then I found out they were speaking English that isn't even good English. Shoot what, the unknown? Why? "No one, who care about me?" Obviously no one care for you because you English is wrong and the syntax is wrong too. They even put a question mark. Were they trying to ask a question. I can fix this problem.

I did enjoy the each of their powers but I think me favorite ones have to be the fire dragon and the phoenix. I saw that the other people lacked a little. Kai has teleportation power, similar to the move Jumper, but that is making him a bit lazy. He can't even walk a few steps, instead he uses his power. It is a little weird because he goes around stalking the other members and being nonchalant about it.

Where are Luhan and Tao? Are they secluded from the rest of the world? Everyone else are playing outside while they are in these empty rooms with balls or flower petals. Luhan seems a little bored in that room and then he finally gets happy when Kai arrives and leaves in a second. Luhan's telekinesis power could be better, but he does it lift a few balls. Maybe he is practicing for the next EXO dodgeball game because he would definitely win.

Be careful of Beakhyun he might blind you with his light. That is basically it. That is all he can really do. He can also give his position away when trying to hide. Also is he embarrassed of himself because he is shooting his reflection in the mirror.

If I ever had a superpower I would want one that can inflict damage to the enemy. But poor Lay is stuck being the medic and only able to heal or bring things back to life. I noticed that he looks and touches that unicorn painting very intensely. He's wishing that he could bring the unicorn to life and be cooler than the other members.

Xui Min needs more practice using his ice powers because he completely covered the room with ice. Lucky it seems Lay is immune to it because he is the only thing that did not turn to ice. Poor Lay, Xui Min even cover his favorite unicorn painting with ice. Is it a little odd how he needs to hold his chest where his heart is to activate his ice power. Just saying.

Oh D.O. He seems to have this great superpower controlling the earth being able to make earthquakes and all but it falls short. He uses so much force and you can see that and all he does is make a crack where he stomped. The car is only slightly pushed but on a windy day my car is moved even more then what D.O. was able to do. He shouldn't try so hard.

Another cool power to control the winds. Also a weak power because the tornado that is a few meters away can't even pull in a small little butterfly. So really all he does is make the place dusty. I would suggest not to wear white with all the dust flying around.

Time control nice right. Not when you use it to destroy flowers. It is funny how he seems so proud to have kicked the flower in his final pose. Tao should just stick with sword fighting. Though the sword he does have is really floppy. I need to buy him a better one because SM couldn't.

I never really liked water powers because all you can do drown a person or... get them wet. And it seems like Suho chooses to get people wet. Memebers should not be exposed to the mirror because this is another person who does not like his reflection. Or is it because he sees Xui Min in it.

If EXO doesn't work out (which I doubt) Chen can always use his lightening powers to make glass at the beach. Seems like he is getting a head start to. But he needs to be careful to not get too close to the water because he can electrify himself. Has he never read the labels on electric appliances?

Flight seems like one of the most wanted superpower to have. Kris just makes it look awkward. The back flip from the building was cool but the way he flies with his legs open just does not seem right. No worries he makes it up by bring out his pet dragon. He should take some lessons from the dragon on how to fly properly.

This is the only person who's power I don't have a problem with. Where ever you walk you leave a flaming trail, full control of the fire tossing it around, and a phoenix to top it off. Now way to bet that.

One last comment. Did anyone else get annoyed by the advertisements at the bottom? They came out too fequently you can tell be just looking at the picture I put they are in them multiple times. The first few times I wanted to find the x to close them.
