U-Kiss - Doradora

I have to say one word for this video, "sexy." I found U-Kiss to be beyond manly in this video and have a sense of sexiness in not only their dance but also appearance. Kevin who usually looks like the innocent, sweet and weak (Neverland) guy seems different to me in this video. To show you their sexy style in this video I have found proof.
They are constantly hip trusting to tear apart their fans hearts. The way they are holding their hands, what they are trying to portray. I'll leave it at that for your imagination.

Next point, they continue to hip trust to further excite their fans. The main dance move is not the " Doradora" part where they do the confused penguin leg dance but the highlight dance has to be the hip thrusting and the multiple ways of doing this one simple move and looking good while doing it.

If you still have not fainted by all the hip trusting from 7 good looking guys than they added one extra surprise for you.

The disappointing thing is that right before Kiseop shows his abs they dimmed the lights. Aww... Why couldn't they please their fans. I'm thinking that they should change their name because they are not giving out kisses but a lot of sexy hip thrusting.
One thing that I do need to praise are the outfits that U-Kiss wears. The group has 4 different outfits throughout the video and I appreciate the simplicity that still gives each member an individual look.
These white suits look really well on the members where it is not a replica of the same outfit but gives each member an individual look while still appearing as a group. I love when they have a dark background while the members wear a light color. It allows one to focus on the members and appreciate their hip thrusting even more.

Why do kpop bands need to wear feather, accessories, and shiny things these days. These guys are only wear a white tee shirt and jeans with paint and I have to say they look really handsome. Is it only me. Maybe I've seen bands get overdressed these days that it is nice to see something simple. If you have a foot fetish this is perfect for you. But I have one question why do they have all that paint on the floor, couch, and pants but none of that got on their perfectly white shirts? What I think happened is that they did it shirtless to not get it on their shirts because they know that the paint would have stained their shirt. Ohlala.

This must be my favorite outfits of the video because it continues the simplistic style giving each member their own style. I think this is the appropriate way to dress where slight accessories and a nice jacket or shirt can make the man. This is where Kevin's manliness is most apparent. The loose clothes, the jacket, and chucks I never really payed attention the him before but I am now. They are not the same guys from before and you can tell how much they have matured.

This is the sexiest group outfit out of all the others. Oh, and there's Kevin a bit scrawny but still good looking. All the outfits are pointing at toward promoting each individual and not focus on one member (even though I've been focusing on Kevin). But it is due to the fact that I feel he has made the greatest change from the other members. The wardrobe in "Doradora" is what I think is needed more these days. They show how simple can still look great and stylish.

I like the inception feel of the video but did they need to make the room so weird. I don't know how they got in or how they are going to get out because the door doesn't have a door knob. They might be in some type of mental asylum because there are a lot of odd things. The room is really oddly shaped. Rooms are meant to be rectangular. Come on. Also, the things written on the wall are very random. "Go," "exit" and a paperclip? Why put this on the wall because obviously they can't leave through the door that has no door knob. They are horrible in geography, even though they have been traveling recently, because the painting of the map on the wall is upside own. How are you suppose to read the clock. It is stuck to the ceiling and there are no numbers. In a room where you can walk on any of the walls in any direction it would be hard to read the clock correctly. They should fix that.

This confusing room isn't a problem for the rappers of the group Dongho, AJ, and Eli because they have their own U-Kiss rapper exclusive room. A rotating white and blue box room. They are able to practice without worrying about the other members. We all know the rappers are the key to any any group so they need special treatment.
I listened to the song before the video and it was a great song but I was wondering who was saying with the high voice "I hate you" and I laughed to find out it was Eli.

For all the other members they get a rotating wheel. I guess this is a torture device that the company created for having great singing voices.

I have found the secret to the crazy wall walking room. What seems like the floor of the room is actually a wall. You only see the guys there when they are on the bed or leaning on the floor, never walking. Then they the director was smart enough to give Kevin an hour glass to play with which goes towards the left. When they are walking on the left wall (floor) they walk and sit comfortably. After spotting this I realized that Kevin would hold on to the floor because him and Soohyun are in the air with only a small stand holding them up. Poor guy. I would be scared of falling too. It is still an interesting setting, more then just a abstract design with lighting like a lot of other kpop music videos today.

Great to have new material from U-Kiss that is catchy to be the predecessor of Neverland. It gives more light to the potential to this underrated group.

  1. While it's far too late and no one cares about your review anymore, I feel I should be the one to tell you that that word predecessor? It doesn't mean what you think it means. Neverland came first, which makes it the predecessor and Dora Dora the successor.
