Phantom - Burning

Wow, I just needed to hear to a few seconds of the song and I feel in love with the song. Maybe that is because of my interest in Rock music. I like FT Island and CN Blue but they do not sound like the rock band music that I listen to. But this song feels like a band I would listen to. Except they aren't really a band. Who cares I still really like the song so good. I can say a lot of good things about the song itself because it is really good (in my personal opinion), but the video isn't the best. The first time I didn't even notice the actual video because I was into the song but then I watched it again and it was a bit funny actually.

Really liked their debut song so good but their debut video... I would have preferred them just singing somewhere random because the storyline is lacking. I didn't start to bad because the were singing with fire around them with an invisible band. I don't think that the instruments were necessary. I get they were trying to match the guitar and drums of the song but at least have someone play them. If you notice they actually disappear after the beginning. I guess they didn't want it to catch on fire.

So after a little singing, they were apparently a performance for the a party. A party that is in the middle of a town that was recently destroyed by Godzilla and lots of alcohol. The girls in this party start to admire the group and non existent band and start walking towards them. They leave the guys behind while they get a closer look at Phantom.

Who know that they took burning literally and apparently Sanchez has superpowers when he is heartbroken. Not only can he make fire balls but he drips oil out of his hand. It is not nice to show off your powers. Moreover the girls were walking towards him when he decides to pull out his fire. Maybe it's a warning sign to not mess with him because he just ended a bad relationship.

To make sure that they understood that he was not interested he makes a fire that surrounds them. Now they can't get closer and they can't escape. Whoops!

The girls are actually really brave. When Sanchez made a the huge fire the girls were initially shocked. Then knowing that water can defuse some of the fire they went to get the beer bottles that were around them. I think they were a little intoxicated if they really thought that the alcohol would actually help them out. At least they tried, but you can tell they weren't thinking clearly if that is what they did.

Don't worry guise Phantom aren't in danger because the guys in the party weren't your ordinary party goers. Nope they are actually firefighters having a little fun. How convenient. Except I think he is also a policeman because look at the glasses. Phantom were really lucky for having performed for a bunch of firefighters. They were never in any real danger.

Nope, no danger at all except really strong hoses hitting directly at them. And not just one or two more like ten to put out the ring of fire. But it seems like sprinklers were hitting them because they were actually having fun in the water. They even continue to sing and dance while being hit by water. Hanhae is also still wearing his glasses. Has this happened before for them to not care what is happening around them. Even one of the firefighters seems to be having a little too much fun shaking his hose like crazy.

Is there a shortage of water in Korea? After a little while they ran out of water. Then I started to think how they had ten fire hoses to work. That was a lot of water for what they needed it for. I wonder if they noticed when the fire had actually died. They even seem a little surprised at the fact that the water suddenly stopped.

The whole fire started because Sanchez just needed to show off his burning heart and he still hasn't learned his lesson. Once again he starts the fire like if he wanted to do it again. I like how Kiggen and Hanhae don't try to stop him they just stand in the back watching him play with fire.

I get the point of the song is about a guy who is still in love with his ex-girlfriend, but they way they approached it on the video was a little awkward. I think the idea was there but that all they had. I still really like there music the whole album is good. If you have a chance listen to it and don't let the awkward/funny video stop you because these guys can sing.
